Our Nest

Ambrose and Fransisca initially suggested to shoot at Bishan Park as it was close to their house. However, it was the monsoon season in Singapore and the weather forecast for the week seemed to be leaning towards heavy downpours on most of the days. We suggested to the couple that they might want to have their photoshoot in their new apartment instead. They were concerned about the limited space available for us to do the shoot but we assured them that we could definitely work around with what we have. With their support, we came up with several compositions and ideas to shoot at different parts of their lovely apartment.

We especially liked the fact that they were still in the midst of moving in. Hence, there were unpacked boxes here and there, but also completed areas such as their kitchen. It felt so natural to do the shoot, to show them as a couple moving in to their new home, a nest they can call their own.

His Kryptonite, Her Dream

When they first approached us, it was clear that they did not want a normal pre-wedding shoot. Jun Han and Wan Leng simply wanted to keep their carefree Saturday night shenanigans alive in prints before they begin their journey to true adulthood.

Jun Han’s love for highways and cars was lucid, and Wan Leng’s role on the passenger seat as the navigator has never been more important to him.

Their baby was the Audi TT and it was time for it to shine.

And so, we got to work. From sourcing out suitable locations to going through their wardrobe, we could not wait for this series to come to fruition.

We really appreciate the fact that the couple even made sure to send their car for polishing the day before the shoot! Despite having to travel far out to the chosen location and having to shoot late into the night, Jun Han and Wan Leng were incredibly cooperative and wonderful to work with.

Thank you once again to yet another spontaneous couple for giving us the opportunity to feed our creative souls.
